just listening to Jim Rome, he's planning on, or already did, covering the PWBA. In his words "is done...DUN done". I wonder what kind of B.S. and negative talk he is going to give it.

Jim Rome is funny if you take him for what he's worth, and understand his "schtick"......however,....he's a nobody uncoordinated geek who can barely walk and chew gum at the same time so how can you slam anything you can't do yourself.

He says bowling isn't a sport because anything you drink beer during isn't a sport....mmmmmm, then I guess golf isn't a sport either.......I'll say it ....
WHATEVER!!

That being said, ....sometimes he is funny and has good points......

I agree with Jeff. You have to take Rome for what he is worth. He slams all pro atletes in different sports. Does this mean he can play tennis, gold, play football, baseball, or basketball any better than those athletes?

If he could, he would be collecting the big paycheck--

He makes fun of everyone....that is him.

I remember a few years back when he always called Venus Williams PREDATOR. I thought it was funny. She became great at tennis and it all stopped though. He probably just wanted to land her on his show.

The "drinking beer" argument just doesn't hold up.  I played rugby in college, and there was definitely some occasional beer drinking going on, whether it be at halftime or for an injury timeout.  I want Rome to take the position that rugby is not a sport.  That ought to be interesting.
