Title: Diandra and the Blast Zone
Post by: HamPster on September 07, 2008, 08:49:31 AM
For all those who think the Blast Zone sucks . . yes, she's leaving some flat tens, but she's also the only one who's been in the pocket the whole time.  Tighter or longer shots . . the ball owns.  Naturally now that I'm saying something she's having trouble, but just work with your Blast if you have one!  It's not the big hook ball, it's not the big backend ball, it's the ball that wins you money at nationals.

A repeat scheduled?  Did she look good with the ball in hand?  Or just good?

Both but was overtaken by Terrell and an Ebonite Gamebreaker.

Looked to me like the new Smash Zone.  Looked like to me she wasn't throwing it very good at all.  Had a very odd rotation to it off her hand and really struggled to turn the corner on a shot that has ton of backend.

My 2 cents

Just checked espn.com  No repeat show that I can see.  US Open will continue throughout Sept every Sunday at 2pm est on espn (even though this past Sunday's show didn't come on until 5pm est)

Last year, the series repeated after all of the shows were complete.

Shined up Blast Zone.

Bet she wishes she would have started her whole pre shot routine over now in the 9th frame.

Yeah, I couldn't believe she didn't sit that ball down.
