Greater Terre Haute Open (6/4-6/8)

Quick little update since I have the afternoon off...

I didn't think to bring the graph back to the room, but basically it is 23-24 feet forward buffed to 39 on a wood surface, with (IIRC) 55 units per board.  A little bit of reverse oil in the heads but not much...sort of a small puddle in the middle around the arrows.  Ratio is something like 2.18:1, so not truly sport compliant, but fractionally close.

47 entries on the sheet for this week...didn't check to see how many were local am's versus regional players to go along with the national players.

Ragnarok_29 was out there this AM to watch the practice block and may offer some opinions on what he saw on the other pairs.  My thought is that they will start out the day tomorrow playable from inside or out, but the backends will take a while to  tame.  Towards the end of the practice block (2 hours), the outside shot was still there, but with a different surface than I started with.  Slower speed really was not an option, else the back ends get a little squirrelly.  Inside was still playable at that point...and yes, I did actually use a Storm ball (CorePower LRG) inside as opposed to the Assault for playing inside.  A good look was had outside with the Pearl Assault provided I watch my speed...
