Tiffany Rocks And Rolls In Rockford

After staying within reach of the top 5 for the first 32 games at Rockford, Tiffany Stanbrough made a major leap up through the field to the front of the pack, in the final match play session.  Earlier leaders Kelly Kulick and Liz Johnson also found their way into the stepladder finals for Sunday.  Here's the standings after match play:

Either Kelly or Michelle Vs. Tiffany in the finals would be pretty cool.

Although I really like Kelly, I think having 2 explosive personalities like Michelle & Tiffany going head to head would make for a good match.

Well now it looks like we wont get to see ANY of the matches.

They're replaying last weeks show.

The PWBA is digging their own grave now.

Hopefully you stayed with it Bjaardker, after a 10 minute delay for technical difficulties, the telecast was shown with only the first 3 frames being missed.

Congratulations go out to Tiffany Stanbrough again, for another fine title match performance!  The lane conditions today for the TV show were nothing short of UGLY, but Tiffany definitely had a good line on the left side with a 266 in the title match.  Interestingly enough, this was the second week in a row that Tiffany used the far outside down and in shot (around the first arrow) with a lot of speed control, and it definitely worked for her.

It is becoming obvious that Tiffany enjoys winning (she appeared both relaxed and happy accepting the "big check"), and I'm sure that she will add more titles to her record in the very near future.  It would have been even more fun to see her punch out for 300 today, but she let up on a shot in the 6th frame and again in the 11th frame....but given the lane conditions, it was surprising that anyone broke the 200 mark today.
