Title: US Open
Post by: michelle on May 19, 2003, 07:02:49 PM
For those interested, I just confirmed I am on B squad for qualifying.  I also was advised that I have a 1PM Pro-Am assignment...had hoped for later, but at least it wasn't the 11:00AM assignment (since I am actually driving in from IL on Saturday AM).

Unsure about whether B works to my advantage...I'll go from the middle transition to the fresh to toast over the three days before the cut.  At least I should know what the projected number is before the last block...

Good luck Michelle.

I don't really play cards and I am not 79, but it fits together somehow.

Jeffrevs,

Let's root her on or cheer her on to victory.

Where is it being held?  Not that I can make it but just curious.

Michelle,

Sunnybrook Lanes, Sterling Hts, MI.

If you get the chance to, stop by the proshop and talk to Bill Tucker.  Ask him to explain his wheel theory to you.  I only understood part of it but it worked for me.  Might be something you will find interesting.

Well, it is still attached  But really, I have been able to play close to my A game for the past week or so without too much pain.  There are some twinges that I think I am just going to have to live with.  I got a renewal on the Vicodin just in case and also picked up a few of those chemical cold packs to keep in the bag.

Much of the credit for the recovery and rehab goes to the physical therapist I was working with.  If I can make a show at either the Open or Terre Haute, you can bet that there will be a shout-out

The closest I ever got to an "A" game was about a "C".

Good luck, Michelle.  Knock 'em dead!

Tear 'em up, and let me know what it was REALLY like!
Also - keep a packet of Salon Pas pain patches in your bag - they work great, and they're really cheap - you can get 'em at Costco...

Michelle, you can rest assured that your cheering committee here will be pulling for you!  Your squad times look pretty good with the exception of the Tuesday 8:00am time.....YEEEEOUCH!  At 8:00am, I wouldn't know which foot is my slide foot!

You can bet that I'll be watching the tournament results while you're up in the Northland.  Tear 'em up for me!!!

Good luck Michelle, hope you can rip it up and score big. Hopefully your hand will get through it as well. Vicodin and Aleve does wonders!
