Grease Monkey Pow drilled 40 x 4 x 75 (Double thumb weight hole)

Radical intended the Pow to create versatility from the Yeti and Reax series and delivered a winner on the Monkey Pow. Most typical house shots, this can be the first ball out of the bag and depending on what surface you are looking for, (I hit mine with the 1500 Siaar Pad) will keep you clean through the front and deliver a stable and consistent ball motion on the backend.

Using the recommended double thumb layout, I have increased the predictability and maximized the motion to the fullest. If you were a big fan of the Brunswick Versa Max, then you will love the Grease Monkey Pow.

Great add to your bag.

Grease Monkey POW - 55* x 4 3/4" x 40*

As with all balls at Radical, each ball is designed to fill a gap.  For anyone who threw the original Grease Monkey, and you needed a bit more on heavier oil patterns, please do yourself a favor and pick up this ball!!!  Still the controllability from this core in the EZ Use line at Radical, but more zing!
Leave the surface at box, you will benefit from the ability to chase the pattern toward the heavier oil and still see recovery down lane.  If you bowl on lighter oil patterns, put some shine on the ball, and it will compliment your Grease Monkey in a great way!!!
Still, the most hook for the money of any line of balls on the market!  If you have questions about this ball, feel free to contact me directly.

Thanks,

I have rico drilling layout in my Pow.  This drilling allows me throw this ball when the backends are a dryer.  The layout allows the ball to roll and jerk when it hits the dry which provides me with a stronger entry into the 1-2 pocket.  Pow really packs a punch!!!

I've had my GM POW for a few weeks and really never threw it. I use my Torrid Elite most of the time. That is one great THS house ball. Showed up at my Tuesday afternoon singles league and decided to use the GM POW for all three games. The drilling is 17* x 5.5" x 64*.
THS on very old synthetics. First game 194, missed a two single pin spares, 244 clean and a 221 with a missed 10 pin for a nice 660. Ball just keeps coming, missed a few to the outside and still made it back with authority. Radical has been very good to me since a friend introduced me to this brand. Good bowling to all.

LANE CONDITION

Length: Medium

Volume: Medium

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): THS

COMMENTS

Likes: This ball is quite the upgrade from the original Grease Monkey.  This ball has solid cover (original was a pearl), yet the difference in ball reaction is remarkable.  It is cleaner than the Grease Monkey but wayyy stronger on the backend.  Awesome medium benchmark ball.

Dislikes: None that I can think of.
