The Radical Intel bowling ball can make any bowler look smart. This ball combines a low differential symmetric core with the Ai 25 coverstock. This ball plays smart on tough patterns by being strong enough to open up the lanes but still smooth enough down lane so that it can be used on typical house shots as well as on the burn for tournament bowlers. This ball offers predictable ball motion and awesome usability from several angles on oily lane conditions.

Color: Navy/Black
Coverstock: Symmetric
Finish: 500/1,000/2,000 Siaair Micro Pad
RG: 2.483 (15# ball)
Diff: 0.035 (15# ball)
Recommended Lane Condition: Medium to Oily

Likes: The Intel is a much awaited piece in the Radical lineup. The main goal of the Intel is to have a ball for the tougher oil patterns, where other balls will read too early or have the "hockey stick" type of hook, the Intel is smooth yet packs up a ton of punch for the price (Reliable line).
I got to test this ball last week on the Beijing 39' pattern. This pattern is very speed sensitive, and requires premium shot making. I drilled my Intel 50x4.5x35. I am rev/speed matched, this ball was a lot stronger than I thought. Compared to my magnitude 035, I was 5 left and 2 inside with my eyes. The hitting power of this ball is excellent, great continuation. The ball is a little stronger than my Jackpot solid.

The Intel should be in every tournament players bag, and is a great choice for Lihue players looking for a ball that will give them control without sacrificing hitting power.

Dislikes: None as of now.

The Radical Intel adds a great ball motion to the Radical lineup! Featuring the Ai25 solid coverstock and symmetrical core, the Intel gives serious tournament bowlers the ball motion they need when conditions become tough. The league bowler will find that the Intel is a must have as a reliable ball that will be controllable, yet strong enough to handle medium to medium-light volumes of oil. I drilled my Intel 50 x 4.25" x 25, with no weight hole, and this ball allows me to play the edge of the oil line, whether that is further out, or even deeper inside, and the lower VAL angle allows the ball to make a quicker, strong motion to the pocket every….single….time. Consistency, that is what separates the Intel from every other solid, symmetrical ball on the market.  I have used it on house shots all the way to the PBA Viper pattern & WTBA London oil patterns with great success. Likes: This ball is definitely one of the best ball I've ever bowled with. Having a benchmark ball like the intel in my bag helps be choosing if I need to go a bit more aggressive or smoother on the lane. Let's just say that most of the time it's my go to ball. The Intel reads the lane perfectly. Having that smooth reaction, but that hits the pin like a truck. I've always been a type of guy that preferred angular motions and asymmetric balls over smooth and symmetric. Although, now having the Intel in my bag it changes everything. Since I've had it last week, I've bowled 3x279 1x275 and had over 240 average in 20+ games.

If you need a ball that can help you moving forward in your bowling, choose the Intel!

Drilled my Intel with my favorite 50x5x45 layout (pin over bridge) @2k with the intent of having another middle of my bag look to use as the lanes start to break down.

The Intel gives me average length, above average amount of backend and covers an average number of boards across the lane.  The motion that the Intel offers is something unique to my bag and honestly a bit hard to describe.  Down the lane it makes a very defined move that is pretty angular for a solid, yet hook/set.  The beauty of this is that I can open my angles up with this ball but it is still quite controllable off the spot and will stop hooking before the pins.
I have heard many comparisons between the Intel and the IQ Tour.  Personally, my eye sees the Intel as being a step cleaner and more responsive down the lane (possibly a good ball to switch to if your IQ Tour is starting to look a little flat).

So far I have used it on a variety of house patterns and in tournament play on a few short patterns.  I have had a look with this ball every single time I have been in the bowling center.  On heavier fresh patterns I can roll the ball off my hand and play the track with some success, but my best carry has always been once the mid lane started to hook after a couple of games.

My best look has been on a 36' pattern in our challenge league where going straight up 5 just doesn't shape properly.  Most weeks have been a struggle on fresh, but by game 3 (3 man, 4 game league) I have been able to get the ball through 10-12 at the arrows out to around 5 and have a great reaction.  The Intel doesn't over recover if I get it to the dry too quickly, and so long as I don't pull it too much gives me shape through the pins where other balls either overshoot the carrydown or go sideways.

I recommend the Intel to anybody looking for a multi purpose ball that can be used on all but the most extreme lane conditions.  This ball will come into play on a surprisingly wide variety of patterns and angles, making it one of the most versatile balls that I have thrown in some time.

Probably one of my favorites of the year.  Drilled pin next to my ring finger, 50 x 4 1/2 x 40 hole on my axis. The Intel takes cover changes very well, i have used it very shiny and back to box surface.  Ball motion is more then I anticipated for a .035 diff, and hits like every radical does.

Radical Intel

I’m a left handed bowler. My Ball speed is around 14.5 on the back part of the lane. My Rev Rate is around 275 to 300 rpms. I just punch up a Radical Intel. The layout I decided to try out is 70 x 4 1/2 x 35. Let me just say I think this ball is awesome. It seems to be able to work on sport and house shot very well. It’s clean through the fronts and has a strong arc on the back. This is a great first ball out of the bag. Great job Radical Bowling Technologies.

Intel

The symmetrical core and new cover combination gives this ball the characteristics of strong and smooth.  If you love predictable ball motion, with a strong reaction and incredible hitting power, the intel is the ball for you.  I drilled mine 40 x 5 x 65.  I’ve been able to use it on a variety of conditions.  This is an ideal ball for house shots, and demanding tournament conditions.  I’ve also found it allows me to combat the lanes effectively when there are extreme wet/dry conditions created from bowling traffic.  The Intel easily clears the fronts, makes a strong but predictable motion to the pocket, and it destroys the pins with great continuation. The Intel is possibly the most underrated ball on the market.  The Intel in my opinion is the best benchmark ball ever bowler should have in his arsenal.  Intel has a midlane roll and backend motion I haven't seen since in a while, rolls hard and still continues through the pins.  I laid mine out for tighter sport patterns to keep the ball in front of me while not losing downlane motion.  Add some Intel to your arsenal, you wont be disappointed.

The Radical Intel is by far one of the most controllable benchmark balls I have ever used.  The combination of cove and core is a perfect match and the ball goes through the pins as beautifully as any symmetrical on the market.  I used mine at 1000 SiaAir on the fresh USBC Nationals pattern and it calmed down the back ends to allow me to gain some comfort on that challenging condition.

I would recommend this ball for most any sport pattern, and for any bowler who struggles on freshly oiled lanes.  I have the pin to the right of the ring finger (right-handed) to smooth it as much as possible, but the versatility in the design will allow for multiple layouts and surface adjustments.

Every bowler needs a ball with these characteristics in their arsenal, make yours the Radical Intel and you won't be disappointed.
