My ReaX Gusto has a double thumb layout in it. This ball gets thru the front part of the lane very clean. And has about 5 more boards of hook on the backend. Than the ReaX version 2 pearl. It's a great fit to the Reax line.

REAX Gusto - 55* x 4" x 35*
The Gusto is a superb compliment to the Reax line, and is like a shape that hasn't been seen by any other ball in the proven Reax line. Typically a big hooking line of balls, pretty clean at the break, and strong through the pins....for me, this ball was a completely new shape at the break point and super strong through the pins!
If you are a user of any ball in the Reax line and want a new look downlane, go for the Gusto!!!
If anyone has questions about this ball, I am always open to answer!!
Thanks,

The length and hit of this ball is incredible. I love watching this ball go down the lane and make an immediately right-hand turn when it hits the dry. My layout in this ball is the motion hole layout with the pin up. This ball is great on medium to dry lane conditions....clean through the front part of the lane and packs a bit hit into the pocket. This ball is awesome benchmark ball as well.

The Reax Gusto is the final piece in the Reax line, which is the top performance line. When Radical Bowling decided to create this ball, they wanted a ball that would easily clear the heads with lots of downlane motion. I drilled mine 50×5.25×35 (high tilt). The ball gets down the lane really well and creates lots of entry angle. By the way, this ball hits!!
Radical achieved this by modifying the coverstock with a new set of additives and manipulating the core densities to lower the differential and intermediate differential values. Even on a fresh lighter volume shot, this ball is money. Colors look great on the ball, its good for low rev, lower speed player looking for some hook or high revs looking to have fun with a good hooking ball that gets down the lane. The Gusto compliments well the Reax2 pearl when that ball just revs up too early.
Wow, that's Radical!!

Likes: This ball is by far the best house shot ball I've ever thrown. When you miss right to the dry, it doesn't over-hook, but is strong enough to hook in the oil when you miss left. The amount of room I get with it is unprecedented. And it still strikes from high, flush, and light pocket. It pretty much creates the perfect angle downlane for optimum carry.

Dislikes: It doesn't perform well in heavy oil...but that's not what pearls are made for.

This ball is by far my favorite house pattern ball of all time. Every league night it is the first ball out of my bag. It does not over hook off of the dry and it tractions in oil. Fantastic benchmark ball for medium conditions. #wowthatsradical

The Radical Reax Gusto is what I call "sneaky powerful". I am using a moderate layout and the ball reads the mid-lane very well and then has a very stong, continuous motion.
This makes it very predictable and easy to put it in the pocket. While it certainly can blow racks, it's strength is how easy it is to throw high flush strikes.
And, that's what I am usually trying to do.
I really like how Radical finishes this ball. They use 500 grit and then top it off with a compound and shine finish. So, it can get down the lane a bit and then still get traction to make a great move to the pocket.
This is one of the "middle balls" in my arsenal and generally goes to any tournament I enter. #wowthatsradical

I have a few ReaX Gusto's. The Hybrid cover gives plenty of length through the front part of the lane, but provides the necessary amount of traction to turn in the back end. It hooks less than the other balls in the Top Shelf line, but it complements them perfectly.
My favorite ReaX Gusto has a mid lane layout, 50/4.5/30. I primarily use my ReaX Gusto's in tournaments. I can stay straighter for a longer period of time with this ball and still maintain hitting power and entry angle. It seems to be the perfect ball to use as the transition begins and I need to ball down after my ReaX V2 Solid or my Guru. Great ball for medium oil house conditions! Once again the drilling versatility is just like all the other Radical balls utilizing the Finger Scoop. Different layouts yields so many different results.
