The Katana Legend might replace the Slash as my favorite Katana to date. The strength and versatility of the Legend is something to behold. I used a 45x4.25x35 “All Purpose†layout, and I think “All Purpose†is a great way to describe it. The Legend allows me to play anywhere on the lane. I can take a little hand out of it and play down the boards, I can get around it and circle the whole lane. Being a high speed player with a low tilt, I don’t usually get that versatility out of a single ball. The most amazing part about the Legend is how it doesn’t lose anything changing surface. I have used mine from out of box shine, all the way down to 1500 and the ball just keeps hooking and never quits. It truly is astonishing. If you are a league bowler and are looking for “one ball that does it allâ€, the Katana Legend may be just what you are looking for.
