Building on the success of The Hitter line, The Radical The Hitter Pearl elevates performance with the innovative HK-22 Utility Pearl cover. While the original The Hitter featured the HK-22 Solid derivative, the new pearl version offers a cleaner motion and a more pronounced backend reaction. This cover and core combination provides enhanced sharpness down the lane, in contrast to the mid-lane motion of the original Hitter, making The Hitter Pearl a perfect complement to its predecessor.

I drilled The Hitter Pearl 50 x 4.5" x 70 to be a benchmark asymmetric pearl, complimenting The Hitter solid perfectly in my arsenal. The Hitter Pearl features an HK22 base called HK22 Utility Pearl. This cover and core combination yields a cleaner motion and a significant increase in backend reaction. Where the original Hitter had more mid-lane motion, The Hitter Pearl is cleaner and sharper down-lane, making it a perfect complement to the original Hitter. I have used this on a 41 ft. house shot, Autobahn, Viper, and Harry Smith oil patterns, and have been very impressed by the cleaner length and sharp angles to the pocket that I can create with this ball. I have this one about 2-3 feet longer than the original The Hitter, with similar overall hook. The best asymmetric 1-2 punch out there! The Hitter Pearl - House Patterns

Went with the Radical Maximum Flip Layout for The Hitter Pearl, I like what I am seeing out of The Hitter, true to shape.  I don’t see a drastic seven looking motion like other pearl pieces have shown.  The Hitter Pearl has a continuous roll to it, also rolls a bit heavy which I like as well.  I didn’t touch the surface bowled about nine games with the true surface only wiping oil off now and then.  The Hitter Pearl is what I call “true to form” meaning it likes to roll in it’s natural state The Hitter Pearl came polish so it shows itself best polish from what I can see.  I played around with the surface for a couple weeks 2000 then 3000 The Hitter will stand up quickly when surface is added almost sooner then The Hitter Solid.  I was not ready for the ball to be that strong with a minor surface change.  The Hitter Pearl is predictable with change of direction and loves to finish through the pins.  I was also getting light mixers to go a good amount.  Almost like it touched the pocket enough and pins were afraid to stand I CAN GET USE TO THAT!!!!  If you are looking for a bowling ball that will give you instant reaction and you don’t have to make surface adjustments. I think The Hitter Pearl is that piece you have been looking for.
