I drilled the Radical Torpedo 55 x 4.5” x 35 to be a benchmark pearl asymmetric in my lineup, and it does that perfectly. The Torpedo uses a brand-new core and the super popular HK22 Cohesion + Pearl (HK22 C+ Pearl) cover, to give you the perfect blend of length and aggression! When compared to Radical’s The Hitter Pearl, I can play about 2 and 1 right (left-handed), as the Torpedo can handle higher volumes better than The Hitter Pearl. I am also able to see a little better pin carry on “off hits” and lower entry angles. When compared to the Torpedo Direct Hit, the Torpedo is 8-4 right, with a much stronger cover and more forgiving on errant shots. This ball should be in every tournament player’s bag! Radical Torpedo
I am a left handed bowler. My ball speed is around 14 mph. My Rev rate is around 275rpms. I recently punched up this ball. My layout choice is 40 x 4 1/4 x 70. I was looking for a ball for older lane surface and with strong backend. Well this ball seems to be very good for that. With its pearl cover it is clean through the fronts. And with the HK22C. It gives me a very good backend motion. I think this a good addition to the Radical line. I recommend trying this ball out. It will be a good addition to your bag.
