Anything new coming from Radical?
« on: December 09, 2012, 08:24:55 PM »
Haven't heard anything from Radical in a while. Is there anything new in the works Phil.

From what Phil said a long time ago, he isn't going to put anything out unless it fits the needs.  I commend Phil for not just popping out equipment like the likes of the Big three companies.  Everything that Phil has come out with with the Radical brand has fit perfectly for what they are intended for.  I can't see any holes in their lineup.

Track_Fanatic nailed it.  The only time anything new will come out from Phil is if a hole opens up that needs to be filled.  It may be a while before we see anything new from that line.

I understand that. Usually you would see at least 1 new piece every once in a while even from a smaller company. I just haven't heard anything from them so I didn't know if everything was going ok with the company. Phil is a great guy and I know he's got a great line going. I guess it's just curiosity.

I heard from him last week, seems he is in the testing phase. We discussed new releases at the Dallas - Ft.Worth ball expo a few ideas were thrown around dinner, but I'm not at liberty to discuss any of those.

I would like to see a high end polished solid, and maybe a hybrid version of the Torrid but those are just Christmas wishes.

I'm assuming Steve that you are the tester?   ;D

not an official tester, he did send me a Torrid in sheep's clothing a month before it became an official release. But as test balls go, I can tell you mine was much stronger than the real Torrid, I'm hoping what ever that ball it was might be is coming out, hell it out hooked the Hybrid, the color had a ton more shelf appeal as well !!

As you all have remembered, I will launch when it is new and different enough to improve the line, things are going well and as planned.

Phil, thank you for not flooding the market. I am looking forward to getting a Torrid, and one of the Slants to try out. I think the HD looks mean.
