I cleaned my yeti for the first time, I use a cocktail (91%alcohol,white vinegar, few drops dawn orig soap) and I was surprised at how much the color was coming out of the ball, the paper towel was completely red&purple.... Anyone else have this happen?
the ball rolled AMAZING , but I just wanna make sure its normal and/or a not to worry thing..

Maybe the acid in your 'cocktail'?   I would try cleaning it without the vinegar added to that cocktail.

Well got home and sprayed the towel and just gave the ball a wipe and more color came off....i took a pic of the yeti next to the torrid elite and I wiped both off with a paper towel and the same cleaning cocktail and nothing came off the torrid, but some still came off the yeti.... I hope it isn't a problem lol..but better to ask and be safe lol

The alcohol is peeling up the yellow dye from the logos along with the oil, plasticizers, and color of the resin in the ball.

So out of the 5 balls I have this is only happening with one, if all my stuff was bleeding onto the paper towel I'd understand your point, but its only the yeti

Just making a general observation from what I've seen in 10 years pro shop experience. My bad I didn't have the right answer to this mystery.

I like to say if it is still doing that. By all means don' use it at all. The two of what you have in the bottle is what doing it not the soap. My question is why you want do that when you can get a cleaner that for bowling balls? Let's hope that you did not ruin the ball. I would not do something like that.
I hate ten pins but love the game of bowling with just the right ball to take them out.

well because 91% alcohol is a approved cleaner as well as white vinegar.. My driller cleaned our buddies yeti at the shop with tac-up,and energizer with the same results I had ....so its something to do with the color pigment of the ball. None of my other balls ever suffered from my cleaner ...

The first time I cleaned my Yeti there was more color than typical on the rag.  Since then, just dark/black gunk from the oil/dirt.  I don't remember what I used first, but I use either Valentino's Remedy RX or straight Simple Green followed by water.
