Just wanted to quickly brag that my son and I won the handicap division of this past weekends Adult/junior tournament for PJBT (pennsylvania). He was a 173 going in, mine for tournament purposes is 197 (highest avg.; current league is 195...broken back mid season)
Anyway he contributed greatly for the 5 qualifying games with his (cough...cough) motiv equipment. Averaging 199. I did my part too and we were second after qualifying. 3 more games after that and the lanes really started breaking down. Stayed in second place. Top 4 moved to semis. We won our semi by 1 pin and then took down the top seed in the final quite handily.
The lanes got really bad by the end but my trusty Grease Monkey provided me a great look late and I finished the last 3 with 211-223-222. It was great to be able to step up for my son when he needed me to. The grease monkey was killing it.

Congrats.
Its nice to be able to win with your parent/child. I got lucky enough to do that with my dad when I first started back bowling in 1995. I still have that trophy/plaque from that win, may not be the most prestigious but it is the most special.
