Title: Has anyone thrown a Slant Solid?
Post by: HankScorpio on April 14, 2012, 01:54:13 AM
Looking for some information on the Slant Solid.  How strong is it?  How well does it handle true heavy oil?

I have mine drilled 4.5x60x35. the same as my pearl and also the hybrid I drilled when it came out. For me at OOB surface it was too angular and unpredictable compared to the pearl. Mine had come polished so i knocked the shine off with a 4k pad and the ball turned into a beast. I throw mine on med-heavy conditions and am able to open the lane up with this ball. It responds well to hand position changes and i think with a different layout and probably some surface changes it would handle heavy with no difficulty. This ball is a very versatile peice and is quite fun to throw. Hope this helps
