How do the Primo and Reax Gusto compare?
« on: July 20, 2015, 11:25:54 AM »
Yes, I know the Primo is symmetric and the Gusto (which I have) is asymmetric. I like the Gusto and I've already had some success with it. I've also heard some good things about the Primo.

Phil is another thread said the Primo is supposed to be an improved version of the Yeti Untamed

Interesting. The reason why I put the Primo and Gusto together is because the Primo is supposedly a hybrid cover like the Gusto. Depending on which site you go, the Primo's a pearl solid (a term Phil uses) or a hybrid. Now I'm wondering which one is it?

The primo is definitely all pearl. I threw it in a demo night last week and it is very strong for a pearl. I think it is going to pick up much earlier than your gusto and have a harder arching motion also. The dv8 vandal was the most impressive ball out of the 3 brands. The vandal is going to be in a lot bags this year.
