Hybrid is Perfect !!
« on: September 07, 2012, 08:45:03 AM »
After 4 long months of not being able to bowl due to self inflected injuries I was anxious for the beginning of the new league season. My major concern was not trying to get too cute with the release, just keeping it simple and protecting the abused tendons in my forearm and triceps. Amazing how keeping it simple stupid works, not expecting to shoot a big series I just wanted to finish the night without injuring my bowling arm and not killing my team from months of inactivity. I shoot 203,233,300 2 opens in the 1st game, flagged a 4 and a 10 pin in the tenth from that point on it was a carry issue, not much of an issue the third game. Slant Hybrid long pin 2nd was the choice for the night, had a Slant HD drilled similar, but it just didn't have the consistency the Hybrid had from the break point to the pocket. Thanks to Phil for sending the seed balls and the bowling shirts for our Thursday night team !!!!

Steve, I want to try the slant line but fear that I do not see enough oil for them.  My times up had to be polished to tame it down enough.  Have nothing but positive words for Radical and you work.

Congratulations, Steve!! Great bowling!!!!

I can empathize with the injuries. I tore a tibial tendon in my left (sliding) foot 3 years ago and elected to do therapy instead of having surgery. This summer Plantar Fasciitis struck the same foot. I thought I re-injured the tendon, so I put off going to the doctor; didn't know what it was. Finally the pain got to be too much and I went. Learned it was "ONLY" plantar fasciitis, the excruciating pain that went along with it. Another 4 - 6 weeks of therapy before I could bowl again. Getting old sucks.
