Title: Punching my first Radical
Post by: Jimmy Fields on May 04, 2014, 03:45:50 PM
Ordered a Torrid Affair earlier this week and it should be here in a few days. I've seen and heard some good things about them from Robert Browder and Chris Muscarello so i thought i would try them. I can leave a 10 pin with any brand so lets give them a try!!

I'm hoping that your not going to leave many 10 pins now that your getting "Radical".

This was my first Radical ball too. Actually first 'new' ball I ever bought. Liked it so much I went out and bought several more radical balls. The only enemy of my scores now is me. When I'm throwing well, I never have issue with carry. And it's very forgiving of my erratic performance.

Like I tell my son, Radical knocks down pins. It's as simple as that.

So i get home from work and bowling last night and there's a box on my porch with my new T A in it. I requested a 3-4 inch pin and got a 2-3 inch pin and i don't think the layout i was wanting to do will work now with the shorter pin. When i go in tonight going to talk to the shop and see if i can get them to replace it for me?

You will love your Radical piece. I have drilled up my 4th one today and love each one of them. I was told last year that Radical was making moves by making some great equipment for us the everyday bowler. The shape and movement of the Radical line enhances my Big B pieces very well. The ball you have is one that was on my radar. I wanted something for lighter conditions and I was checking that one out. Our shop can't keep them in.

Hi Jimmy
Thanks for supporting the Radical Brand, I'm sure you will have great success with our products. I do have a question, do not take this the wrong way. You said earlier that you can leave ten pins with any brand, have you been suggesting the drill patterns or has your shop? Because I noticed you say that the 2-3 pin was not what you requested for the drilling you wanted to put in this ball. If you have been drilling 3-4 a certain way and leaving ten pins, maybe a change is in order.
