Interesting. How does the Jackpot compare to the Rave On and Primo?

Love the look of this one. However, will wait to hear from others before making my decision.

+1

I never listen to the staffers whose best ball is the newest one out. This video does look impressive, but real world feedback will be the key on my decision.

Not sure you could ask for much more in a review. I'm VERY impressed with this video and the ball reaction from Mark Zuckercurve :)

Score was a great program we tried and were successful at executing, maybe there will be something more like it in the future.

It's easy to presume things when he's not there. :)

And yes, at 20+ MPH the ball deflects because it never had a chance to get into a roll. With a little more surface, the ball would split the 8-9 just like Cuba.

Bottom line, nobody really bowls like that so we just tossed it in there for entertainment. (mostly our own lol)

I bowl with a guy who bowls just like "Keanu Revs".  Average ball speed is 21mph (measured at the pins) and has the rotation as well.  He has a 227 average as a sub on our league, and 219 average on his regular league.  It is amazing to watch him bowl, and even more amazing to see the pins explode when his ball hits them.

When he sends a flying messenger, do his teammates point out that the ball deflected?

Nope...the frequent flying messengers just elicit big grins and high fives!

Exactly!

We were cracking up testing Keanu, giggling the whole way at these messengers.

Hopefully "Keanu" was running those shots out 3 pairs and slapping those 10's out when the messenger got them.  It's not my thing but "Keanu" would certainly be justified in doing so making shots like that.  Ha!  8)

It does beg the question:  At what point does a "messenger" become a missile?

I think when the pin hits the 10 pin before it touches the deck.

After we were done testing Perception vs Reality 3, we launched the Guru Supreme with similar specs and stoned a 9 like you wouldn't believe. I might have the video clip somewhere still.

Nick,

Out of curiosity what balls are featured in round 3!?

Edit

Nvm...that's not new. Hopefully round 4 is coming!

As usual everybody is an expert. LOL
We will keep doing what we do because we feel it is the best way to show comparisons and take out the human element. Plus we have fun screwing with the nay sayers.

I could line up off of Mark Zuckercurve.  The moment I see a ball review done only by some young guy with 18mph+ ball speed and a 450 rev rate, I click off.  Well done representing a variety of styles.

We tried to cover a wide range of styles ( speed and rev rate ) so anyone can see the ball perform on a house shot without the human element.
Plus we didn't have to buy throbot lunch or hear him complain about the lane conditions. :)

Guys I'm not trying to hijack the thread, but was there ever an issue with Radical balls cracking?  I've had about 12 in the past few years.  I've had 4 of those crack out,  those being Yeti Unleashed, Untammed, Monkey Whack, and Reax2 pearl and Solid.  I keep them in the house and throw on a regular basis too, so I'm not sure.  I'll continue to use the equipment, because I like the reaction!  Just a question?

Thanks,

Charles

We haven't heard of any issues, we do have a 1 year limited warranty which you can review on our website. If your products fall under warranty please go back to the shop that they were purchased from and have the shop operator file the claim.

I appreciate the response, but the shop they came from closed.  Also, I'm sure they were all over a year old.  I just threw them in the trash and moved on.  I like Racial Equipment and will continue to use it.  I still have a Primo and Score in the bag.

I posed a question on this thread and Newguy has made the situation right!!  Newguy and Radical didn't have to do anything, but stepped up and helped me realize why I choose to do business with them.  I appreciate the quick and timely response from newguy.

There's a reason why Phil has been in the industry as long as he has, and it certainly has NOTHING to do with his choice in comedic movies! He's a good dude and he cares, simple enough!

thanks Brunsnick. Your response is only partly true. I do have great taste in Comedic Movies. The rest is suspect.

Jackpot
I have been looking for a ball that would be good for my house shot league. I recently drilled up this ball. I put a continuous layout in it. The numbers are 80 X 3 1/2 X 30. This ball works great on my house shot. I was able to shoot a 300 game this season. Looking forward to using this ball.

I have an idea for Nick n Phil... Instead of a 2 dimensional visual chart or a slightly more interactive comparative shape/style chart with drop downs... How about the following?

Since you have made several Throbot videos to date, why not create a product lineup with the same layouts (pin up/down) using the same player style and compare that way... Pick a style, pick a layout, pick a ball (Throbot, lane surface and oil pattern are your constants) then one can truly see the motion differences between a Guru Supreme, Primo Solid, Jackpot, etc...

Or is this coming and I am "Captain Obvious?" LMAO

Thanks for the suggestion, its a ton of work so we will have to look at it and decide how labor intense it actually is.
