Radical moving to Brunswick
« on: January 03, 2013, 09:31:39 PM »
Just saw a post on BBE saying that Radical will become Radical Bowling Technologies and will be poured by Brunswick.

Anyone else hear this?

Is that a 900 pour Steve?  According to Nick, this ball will the first Brunswick poured ball.

Yes, even the look of the colors makes me think Brunswick.  Nice looking ball.

With those two working together and being able to use Big B's coverstocks, it's going to be scary!

I have a Radical Slant that I love, but you lost me a Brunswick!! I'll be replacing it with a Lord Field asymmetrical ball, possibly the Heritage!

How about the Dart? Seen this on the approved ball list. Approved Dec '12. Any info on this one?

Being that there is no image on bowl.com... perhaps it's a plastic, spare ball, release with a few different color schemes?

Bruce, why bother replacing the ball that was made in SA just because Phil made a business decision? Doesn't change the ball in your hands. I just ordered a HD and a Torrid, and it's going to be business as usual. I do not match up well to Brunswick shells, but what your saying is paramount to me saying "Hey, Ebonite bought Track, so I am getting rid of all of my old Track stuff!"

Heck, it was the opposite. I started hording stuff made then! If that's how you feel about Brunswick, I think Steve still has some SA poured gems.

I agree! Think back to some of Mo and Phil legendary cores from the 90s - the 3D Offset and ceramicore come to mind - and add to that some of Big B's new and old covers (CFT, Activator +, PK18) and this will surely be an awesome partnership.
