Reax and polish
« on: May 21, 2013, 07:56:39 AM »
Did anyone here change the surface of their Reax with Polish? If so,,,what reaction did you get? Also what is the main difference of adding polish to a 1500 surface or just sanding it up to 2000 or 4000? Does 1500 with a little polish act the same as 3000 with no polish?
Thanks

Polish on a 1500 finish is very different than 2000 or 4000. Best to experiment to see what surface works best on the specific condition you are looking for the ball to perform on.
I polished mine right on top of the factory finish and it stored more energy. My ball speed is low so it was the right move for me. It is still too strong a ball on the house shots I normally bowl on, that why I have a Yeti and a Torrid Elite.
