I got to test the REAX and it is a very strong ball. I got a shorter pin so I went with a negative drilling (CG in towards the palm) and pin under. I also have lower revs and play in drier conditions. Despite the drilling, I was still able to get motion from it on very heavy patterns in the middle. but I did notice it tended to burn up on me a bit (probably my lower speed).
So I put 1000 abralon and polish on her....MAN did this ball come alive....and at the same time became incredibly versatile. In my video for it, I play on 3 conditions (scorpion, and then med THS and broken down THS.....I throw very similar lines on all three....that simple adjustment made this ball a seriously versatile ball that I really like to have around....it doesn't over react when it hits dry, and if you throw it over it seems to react early enough to come back but all but the worst throws.....
Very impressive....if you have the chance you should try it. and for those who get it and find that it is just way too much ball for where you roll.....don't be afraid to adjust that surface before you give up and sell her......you will be glad you took the time to mess with it......I sure am!
My complete review is in the post....it is kind of wordy....but I needed to share some of those thoughts and observations.
