Title: REAX
Post by: 12XSECH on March 29, 2014, 07:27:27 PM
I came on here once and said the REAX was a dud. It just wasnt working for me on the condition I was bowling on. I went to a different house that has a heavier amount of oil and took the REAX out after not using it. The ball is crushing it! Except for a few bad shot that I let up on the speed, My last 3 series were 699, 677 and 715.
But what impressed me is that in 9 games I left 1 ten pin. I did leave four 9 pins though. When i didnt keep the speed up it was split city but those were my errors.
I can admit when I was wrong....

The Reax is a really strong ball and when there is enough oil (or the surface is altered), it's a great ball.  One of the best when there is enough volume for it. Very versatile.

The Reax is a monster when the oil is there. Continued success.

Hate to say I told you so, so I'm not. But the Reax is a monster (On Oil). You have to have it or the ball pukes in the fronts. I have only one house and one game per week I can throw it and I know I have to avg 250 for that one game ever week. After that, it chews the heads then pukes as I migrate in. I always thought about the pearl, but I have a Ravage so I just use that and it picks up where the Reax leaves off.

It takes a big person to admit when they are wrong or their opinion on a subject wasn't correct-- You took an honorable step by making this updated post and letting everyone know of your changed opinion.

The Reax, when used incorrectly, looks like a weaker, lighter volume/pattern/oil ball-- but when everything else won't hook, that's when the Reax comes to life. I've used a number of "oiler" balls in the past-- for me, the Reax is the best (even rated above my La Nina, which was "fuzzy" to the touch)-- it offers control on volume, but it doesn't "die" when it makes the move towards the pocket.

I love this ball and I'll be purchasing a few more for the future (hint, they should be going down in price here in the next few weeks)-- also, pick up the Yeti as a nice complement to the Reax when the lanes start to break down a bit.
