The Roto Grip Halo Vision is versatile high performance bowling ball. This ball utilizes the same proven Centrum Core that has been used in the previous Halo balls but with a hybrid coverstock. This ball is wrapped in the eTrax-H19 Hybrid Reactive coverstock which was designed to give more surface roughness while maintaining its responsiveness to friction on medium/heavy to heavy oiled lanes. This ball is cleaner through the front of the lane but breaks a little early but can be easily adjusted depending on the bowlers needs.

Halo Vision
The new Halo Vision has the Centrum core & the eTrax-H19 hybrid cover. It fits perfectly between the other 2 Halo's for me. When the solid starts to read to early and the pearl is just a little to clean still, the Vision is here to save the day. The Vision still clears the fronts really well but gives a very strong continuous arc. The Vision is a great addition to the line. I think it’s the cover that sets this ball apart.

The New Halo Vision
This ball is a great addition to the halo line. Not as early as the solid but way stronger then the pearl halo.
Its great for the heavy volume medium patterns, but an absolute HOUSESHOT KILLER! Controls down lane well for being a hybrid as well. This ball in my bag is after the crux prime but
still more than the promotion or phaze 2. Overall a great addition if you are in the market for a strong asymetrical hybrid.

My Halo vision layout is
65x5x75
Comes out pin down under my ring.

Orientation:  Right Handed
Rev Rate:  375 RPM
Speed:  16-17 MPH
PAP:  4 5/8 straight across

Location:  Enterprise Park Lanes, Springfield MO
Pattern:  High Volume THS
Dual Angle:  5 ˝, 4, 4

The Halo Vision fits perfectly between the Halo Pearl and the Halo.  It’s cleaner than the Halo and earlier than the Halo Pearl.  If you love both of those, the Halo Vision is a slam dunk.  If you couldn’t decide between the Halo and Halo Pearl here is a good middle option!

Review:
The Roto Grip Halo Vision has been a real treat to roll. It is right up there with the hook of the original Halo but shapes in a different way. By this I mean the smooth strong shape at the breakpoint all the way through the pins. I put this ball between my Crux Prime and Halo Pearl in total hook.   The way the Halo Vision handles oil and drives hard and smooth off the breakpoint is impressive. This is one of the most aggressive but predictable balls I have ever used.  The Halo Vision will give bowlers confidence on heavy oil. When you trust a ball to come back it loosens up the arm swing so you can make a good shot. I have tested this ball on a variety of conditions and if there is oil you will not be disappointed.  One thing I noticed is how well this ball drives through the pins. The carry of the Vision is very good for an early rolling ball. I have used this ball with a lot of lane shine and it may even roll a bit nicer through the front. I have also put a light polish over the box finish and it makes for a super reaction when the box finish is a few feet too early. I did sand down a Halo Vision for one of my better bowlers and we saw an earlier read, 4-5 more boards overall in hook and no loss of carry.  If you are looking for a heavy oil ball, or bowl on thick sport conditions the Halo Vison is a great choice. The Vision seemed to start as a slow seller but as more people hear and see this ball the demand is on the rise at our shops. I am very excited to have this ball at our upcoming Matchmaker Demo because I know the response will be very good.

Summary:
The Halo Vision is strong but smooth
The predictability and hit are very good on this ball.
The colors are very eye catching on the Halo Vision.
The Vision is a great choice for heavier oil patterns.

Roto Grip’s newest HP4 line ball has the same color scheme as another blast from the past and it sure doesn’t disappoint either. This ball is as equally strong as the original Halo with the only the Vision being a little cleaner but not as clean or as angular as the Halo Pearl. Lower rev and Tweeners will love this ball because it gives you the same look as a big hooking solid but without burning up as quickly and higher rev players will love how clean it is.

Let me introduce you to the new big dog on campus in the Halo Vision. The Halo Vision is the newest Halo in the series, still keeping the same core as seen in all the halo’s prior but wrapped in a new Hybrid coverstock to compliment the solid and pearl versions in the line. You’ll see the Halo Vision get through the front part of the lane with ease and have a more back end than the solid version Halo.

This ball is the house shot killer! The Halo Vision blends out the wet-dry very well. You can move as far left with it as you want (if you’re right handed) and throw it as far right as you want and it’ll always do the same thing; STRIKE! For heavier conditions, the Halo Vision will never miss the midlane or down lane and demolish the pins.

This ball is a great addition to the Halo series and a great “big ball” in general. This ball gives me confidence on heavier conditions knowing I can create a spot and be able to score higher than my competition on the fresh.
