Oracle Vision

Take your furture into your own hands with the all new Oracle Vision.

We have modified the already strong asymmetrical Cyclotrontm core to give you added performance from start to finish. The all new Cyclotron Vtm core gives you a lower RG (radius of gyration) to create a quicker spin rate while keeping the differential high (.050) providing continous hook down the lane.

The crowning touch is the introduction of an all new coverstock. The Ultimate Visiontm pearl particle coverstock delivers the traction of a solid particle coverstock in the front of the lane and the backend motion of a pearlized reactive down the lane.

Well matched core/cover stock combination.

I drilled my ORACLE VISION  Pin 4 1/2 x C.G.3 3/4 from P.A.P. MB strong. Our house shot is medium oiled, so I polished the cover stock with some moonshine particle polish. WOW did the color of this ball stand out.

The ORACLE VISION is very clean through the fronts,smooth-even mid lane, and PURE POWER at the back end.

The ORACLE VISION is a sure "ALL IN"- A must to have in your arsenal.

THANKS ROTO-GRIP GREAT JOB !

It's not often that I like a ball immediately, but the Oracle Vision is a keeper. First game out of the box, bowling on a crappy Sunday morning condition with flat oil and carry down from two days of open play - 258. Next five and nothing under 220 while playing around seeing how this one worked from different angles.

Ball is set up with the factory finish, pin at 4 3/4" just above the ring finger, MB an inch or so off the thumb hole in the strong position. The Vision revs fast, reads the midlane, and sets a nice predictable arc to the pocket. Carry was good from different directions to the hole, the ball doesn't push when you don't expect it and it doesn't jump left either. Just a nice predictable reaction.

The hit on this ball is absolutely superb. I broke up all sorts of light hits, had pins flying around the deck and carried more trip 4's on high hits in a morning than I usually carry in a year. Wife was watching and commented that it hit great and a couple folks bowling nearby wanted to know what ball it was. You know when the wife notices good hit and when folks nearby covet your equipment that you have a good one!

Another super pellet from Roto Grip. If you've liked the Cyclotron core balls preceding this one, the Vision is going to be a must have for your collection.

Just drilled this past weekend.  2" pin, drilled 5X4 with pin under ring and MB in the strong position.  Have bowled 20 games on wood lanes, 40'oil, fairly slick shot with not much dry outside, resembles pattern B.  This ball is a lot stronger than I thought, especially in the back.  The house I was using it in does not have a lot of backends but this ball came back very hard.  I got it to compliment my Oracle and it does that very well.  Covers the same amount of boards as my rev leverage Oracle but does it mostly in the back.  Much stronger than my Apocalypse.  If your Apocalypse or Top Fuel is a little squirty or your Oracle isn't quite finishing hard enough this is the ball to go to.  Haven't really tried it on medium oil yet but this ball will need some oil in the box finish if drilled somewhat strong in my opinion.  This is the strongest pearl particle ball out of the box I have ever used.

I have two of these.  The first one I drilled with the pin 5" and the CG 4" from PAP and shined the ball.  It works really well with carry down on the back ends because it finishes very strong and goes through the front of the lane very easy.  It also works good to get way inside and open up the lane.  The second one I drilled with the pin and CG 2" from PAP (this is the first time I've tried this drill) and left it in box condition.  This ball works really well on fresh oil or when the back ends are very strong because it has a nice gradual hook to it but doesn't roll out.  If the back ends begin to go away because of carry down all I need to do is switch to the other ball.  These two balls with these two different drill patterns compliment each other very well.  I feel these two balls together will cover 85 - 90% of house conditions and several tournament conditions.  This is a ball that I think anybody's game could use.

I drilled the Oracle Vision - 2 1/2" pin,
3 oz Top and used my favorite drill -
5"x4" with the pin under the fingers-no weight hole.  I left the surface - out of the box.  I used the ball the first time on flat, medium plus oil. I was able to pick up smooth roll with hard arcing back end.  As I moved left, I was able to clear heads and keep the hard arcing back ends.  I shot 237,247,257 - 741 Series in a 5 man league right off the press!!!!!!

Thanks everyone at Roto Grip-This ball is a good one.

This ball will fit between the Oracle and the RS-1 very well.
I drilled my ball 4 1/2 by 3 1/2, mass to pap is 4", the pin is just below the ring finger.
The ball has a 3 inch Pin, top weight was 2.24 in a 16.0 pound ball.
My ball speed is 16.59 and a rev rate of 238.
I used this ball on a sport shot, league play and several other conditions.  by changing hand positions I was able to keep this ball in play on all but the dry lane conditions.  The ball is easy through the front of the lane, does not over react, has control strong turn to the pins and hits very hard.
The only problem I faced was that the ball would just not quit and would take out the 8 pin leaving the 9 pin on occasion.
This is the first ball I have pushed since the X * 3 was introduced.
IT IS GREAT!

Drilled a 4x4 a 6x4 and a 6x5 all roll great. Very clean and angular for a pearl particle. Ball comes off the spot like an apocalypse just makes the move a few feet earlier. Might need a little more surface to use on a real wet condition but still will have plenty of hook out of the box.

First of all, thanks to Hank and Roger at Roto-Grip for all of the help they have given to me.  What a ball  has come up with.  Drilled the Vision 4 1/4" by 3 1/2" with pin slightly above the finger level, extra hole 5 1/2"  Tested the ball on two conditions;  39 ft. Typical Christmas tree house shot, buffed to 44 ft.; a modified sport league shot which is about 120 units outside and about 60 units 12 to 12, just ugly.
On the house pattern, the Vision allowed me to open the lane up even more than the Apocolypse about 4 and 2 deeper.  I felt that the Vision rolled through the oil, read the midlane not overracting to the dry, and produced powerful recovery while keeping the pins nice and low for optimum pin carry. Tested for 10 games on that pattern, while the heads started to get chopped up, the Vision still cleared the heads clean (with the proper adjustments) and kept on hitting.
I have used the ball twice so far in the tough condition league (league only has three 200 averages in a 22 4-person team league).  The Vision has given me the most hook/finish reaction that I have had all year in that league.  Rolled through and read the oil like the Fear Factor and Ultimate Inferno, but still had enough left to react strong and hit on the backend, where the other two quit on the end.  First two nights produced 688, 697; high set in the league both nights, high game of the night both times which overall produced two very, very profitable nights.
If you haven't gotten your Vision, stop by your local pro-shop and inquire about the ball because it should be a benchmark ball for alot of bowlers.

I found the Vision opened up the over-under condition that is always difficult for me by its ability to get thru the heads and when it got to friction not over react but make a clean continued recovery and retain energy at slower speed and rev rate.

I mapped mine with pin appx. 11/2" left of grip line placing the mass appx. 2"fro thumb.  I did need to polish mine to mid hi luster, though a higher speed and rev player did not.

For league and local tourn. conditions this particle ball is very playable and one of the few particles that a slower speed player can use.

This ball is a great fit between my all time favorite Silver Streak Pearl and the strong mid-lane RS-1

I think the ball is great. It is the most versatile ball I have ever used. owling on different house shots on different surfaces I have found that I can play anywhere on the lane without the ball over-reacting or rolling out. Also the Sare Tire is a great attention grabber. Way to go Roto Grip !!Thanks Janet.  It is the best ball that I have had in my hand since the Black silver Streak. I can play B pattern, ABC Tourn. (1912 A.E.) and house patterns. It is a great all around mid-lane rolling ball. Tanks, Gene

Drilled this ball last week. 4x4, mb strong, wieght hole on pap. I can see this ball as being very versatile. I can play deep inside and swing to the dry and watch the ball come screaming back or tighten it up and swing about 5 boards in the middle of the slop. The ball holds nicely when I pull it left and recovers very strong from the dry. I threw a couple of shots a few feet past the break point, and it still made it back to the swish zone. The ball breaks very much like it's reactive; only a few feet earlier. I would recommend this ball to anyone who is looking for a strong, pearl particle for medium to medium heavy oil.

I got this ball drilled 2 days ago. The drilling I chose, based on Roger at Roto Grip's recommendations, is a 4x4 . In box condition which is 1000 grit matte finish it is a little strong for medium conditions, but I could see it working well in heavier oil, so I polished with some 3m rubbing compound. WOW , what a ball!!!!! I bowled 4 games of practice on my house condition and shot 233, 181, 245, and 228. I would say this ball is definitely a keeper. This is my second Roto Grip product, my other is a Ultra sonic, I am definitely sold on this brand!!!! My stats are a stroker with medium speed and a high track. I highly recommend the Oracle Vision.

Got mine last night and was not wowed at first the ball just didn't hook a lot like I thought it would. I set mine up with a 4 3/8 x 3 with a weight hole on the VAL. This made the ball "set up" earlier but still have continuous backend. I was bowling on your standard THS and I didn't start out getting my full hand in the ball. However, the more hand I put in the ball, the better it reacted. I gained all sorts of area and could get the ball back from almost anywhere. I shot five games of practice:214,216,256,174,171. The last two games I had a pocket 7-10 and a 3-6-7 and I also missed a 7 pin. The ball hits very solidly and the hook potential is beyond belief. Roto wanted a benchmark ball and the have very well found it in the Oracle Vision. I will post more when I bowl on a tougher shot. Overall, great ball, gobbs of hook, what else can a bowler want?

Got mine on Wednesday.  I got it drilled 3 3/8 from the PAP and weight hole on the PAP.  The pin is right below the ring finger.  Throw about 15mph and throw a lot of revs.  Used this ball last night on my league shot and shot 202, 237, 224 which isn't too bad.  Ball reacts the same everytime.  Also did not leave many ten pins which is a good thing as I usually leave a good amount of them.  I would definately recommend this ball to someone looking for a ball that will perform on med to oily lanes.
