Roto Grip has engineered the TNT upper-mid performance bowling ball to offer more torque and more power than previous low RG symmetrical balls. The core and cover combination on this ball create an explosive reaction, as the name suggests. This ball introduces the Torpex core which places the Torque Sphere just above the mid-point of the core. This design creates a low RG and a high differential which results in more motion and more continuation through the pins. The coverstock on this ball is the proven eTrax PLUS Solid Reactive. This coverstock provides more grip and response to friction while still offering ease through the beginning of the lane and ultimately more forgiveness on medium to medium/heavy oil.

Likes: predictable

Dislikes: doesn't create the shape I need on house shots

Smoooooth in a box!  First of all, this ball and I did NOT get a long.  Being a Pro Shop Owner/Operator, this ball is SUPER useful for some very important customers.  My older crowed who has pretty slow ball speed are loving this ball!!  I also have some high Rev players who get to play much further right than normal, with this bad boy!  I think this ball is a testament to the workers in Utah for catering to all aspects of bowling. 

I drilled my TNT pin down which accentuated the issue of the ball being longer and smooth.  Although I changed surfaces a couple times, I just couldn’t see where this ball really fit into my arsenal on house shots. 

If you have watched any of the PBA qualifying, you have seen the TNT get a lot of play.  I can’t wait for the summer sport shot sweepers that are everywhere, go get some use on shorter patters with this ball!

I am a higher speed, rev challenged 220-250ish, high tilt, high rotation, and super low track player, I drilled my Roto Grip TNT 5x3x2 using the Storm VLS and my axis point is 3 ¼ right and 7/8 up. The Roto Grip TNT has definitely become one of my newer favorite release, especially for sport shots. The Roto Grip TNT is a perfect new addition to my arsenal because it is strong and early rolling solid that has a smooth transition that allows me to play straighter angles. Likes: So far I love it on every pattern imaginable. On the short stuff it is smooth and round enough to be used instead of urethane here and there but on the longer stuff it still has plenty of dig when you need it! On house shots it is extremely good at blending the cliff left to right and front to back. I drilled mine with a 5x4x3 and it made it not flare a ton and I think that helped it a lot for me. Even though it is a slightly stronger symmetrical I can still get away with using it on fresh and come game 3/4. This ball can really do it all!
