Add a little zing to your game with the Radical Zing! high performance bowling ball! The core designed for the Zing! was done with the Katana in mind but with more dynamics offering the driller more options. This ball is wrapped with Radical's proven Forged 2 coverstock. This combination creates Radical's desired ball motion of being very aggressive off the spot with a big backend reaction. The Zing! also utilizes Radical's DynamiCore technology that increases the balls coefficient of restitution which causes the pins to reflect off the ball faster resulting in a higher stike percentage.

COMMENTS
I have been waiting on this ball and Radical finally got it with this one.   The Beyond Ridicolous is RIDICOLOUS strong.  The Beyond Ridicolous reminds me of the Ridicolous Asym but much stronger movement on the backend.  I laid mine just like my Asym to give me that 1-2 combo look, but the Beyond Ridicolous is definitely a arrow stronger on the backend and more continuous.  If you need a super strong solid, the Beyond Ridicolous is the ball.

COMMENTS
Ball#1  Amazing ball for a fresh THS with a heavier volume in the middle.  I'm able to play inside of everyone and have plenty of recovery.  I've seen very few balls able to play 20 to 10 in this house and have any hitting power.  This Zing has power to spare and does not leave corner pins.

Ball #2  This is my "ball down" Zing if you can call it that.  It is still a monster capable of playing on the fresh but has a better look once the lanes open up.  The Zing is so versatile and responsive to surface adjustments you could easily fill your entire arsenal with Zings.

The "!" after Zing is the best adjective for it!!  I've never had an asymmetrical solid ball that will continue through the pins the way this thing does.  It still starts to break early like all solids do, but I can't say enough about the continuing amount of energy it seems to have all the way off the pin deck.

I drilled mine pin above the bridge as I was hoping to not have it hook too early, which this layout has been successful in doing (and it matches great with the continuation at the end of the lane).  I've used it on medium and long patterns with really good success.  If you're looking for the next ball to add some "zing" to your game, then you're in the right place!!

Having been with Ebonite for the last 7 years, I haven’t had any experience with other brands, so forgive me as being new to Brunswick, DV8, and Radical I make comparisons to the ball reactions with which I’m familiar. The cover on the Zing is as strong a core/ cover combination as I’ve thrown in a number of years. I thought the Choice Solid was strong, but the Zing takes it to a new level. This ball loves oil.  Where I could stand left and send the Verge to the friction, the Zing did not respond as strongly.  As long as I was lined up fairly parallel with the oil line and didn’t hit the dry early, the Zing looked pretty good.  It read the midlane strongly, made a smooth hockey stick type motion at the breakpoint, and rolled strongly through the pins. I definitely did not have normal house shot area due to the strength of this big core asymmetric ball.  I don’t normally have a great reaction with this type of equipment on house patterns.  I think bowlers with hand who can start a ball deep in the soup and send it to the friction will have a pretty good look with the Zing.  I’m looking forward to trying the Zing on some PBA patterns. The heavier volumes and more evenly distributed oil patterns is where I can get the benefit of these pieces that fit into the ‘beast’ category.  If you’re looking for a super strong asymmetric ball to add to your arsenal, you should definitely consider the Zing.

Drilled my Zing! 60x4.75x30 (pin up) as I needed something to fit between my Prism Solid and Hybrid, while the Warp hadn't been announced yet.
Out of the box, this ball gave me sufficient traction in oil, not as much as I saw out of my Prism Solid, Conspiracy Solid or Tenacity Grit.  This is a ball that is ideal for medium/heavy lane conditions and gave me enough traction to appreciate the oil in the front part of the lane, get set up in the mid lane while still give me a nice arc on the back end.  This type of all purpose ball motion makes the Zing a playable option on any pattern with medium oil and slicker.  Personally, I find my best looks with the Zing to be on longer patterns where I was able to cheat a little more into the oil.  The Zing was the best option that I had on 45' Route 66 in our challenge league where I could start in the track, but was my best option to cheat inwards to find fresh head oil without sacrificing back end recovery.

The Zing represents all purpose ball motion that is a great bridge between the really early hooking, dull oil monsters (Prism Solid, Pitbull Bark, etc) and your favorite top shelf non glossy pearls and hybrids (Prism Hybrid, Conspiracy Theory).  This is as strong of a ball as most people will need in league and has been a very welcome addition to my bag.

Zing

If you are looking for an asymmetrical reactive solid, look no further than the Zing.  I loved this ball so much, I got two of them right away.  I drilled them 70 x 4 1/2 x 80 and 70 x 3 3/4 x 25.  The first is a pin down and the second is pin up.  This ball is a great benchmark ball and one you can use on almost any condition.  This ball gets through the front, attacks the mid lane, and has strong motion off the pattern through the pins.  This ball will fit any bowlers style and or needs.  I did find for the best results for this ball to keep the cover fresh as when lane dirt and oil get on the cover and if its not taken care will affect the ball slightly.  For me I found cleaning it with ball cleaner and hitting lightly with a 2000 Siaar pad after each bowling session gives me the consistency and awesome performance this ball provides.
