may be old news but i heard its rubber.....so when resurfaced the ball will be like new, the particles will not be sanded off..is this true..

Try this out .. sand an Eraser Particle Pearl ball to 800 grit .. get a clean cloth and some slightly abrasive finishing polish and give the ball a spin. Is your cloth now black?

just curious, because other particle balls can be damaged easy when resurfacing and this may not be an issue with the battle...
