Title: 14lb nib Roto Grip Hustle Ink on Ebay
Post by: batbowler on January 05, 2020, 09:27:10 PM
I bid on a 14lb nib blem on Ebay. I figured it would go fairly cheap being a blem. It also had a shipping fee of $24.95, so I watched my bid. I knew I could get one in the $70 range shipped. I stopped at $49 and I got a notice that it sold for $66. It may be me, but I check websites for prices and bid accordingly. Over $90 for a blem seemed high and I found a Winner for $69 with free shipping and MVP for $103 free shipping.  I bought my Ink for $73, free shipping.  I guess moral of my story is to shop around and check prices!

This ball is one I was glad I paid an online retailer for due to it cracking a month outside the warranty and the retailer still giving me a refund (ball is cheap and good enough actually bought another one so far so good).  Ebay has it place but online retailers after sale support can be valuable (also got an After Dark pearl for free from a retailer when ball came with ding in it).

eBay.

Found a NIB Columbia Yellow Dot. Wanted one for sentimental reasons, and got a good Christmas bonus, so I figured why not, and bid a ridiculous $150 on it, figuring it was mine.

5 minutes. That’s all it took for someone to come along and bid $200. Really.

Hope they enjoy it.

I’m an amateur, and I can make do with plugged stuff. You can find those if you have a little patience.
