299 with the Battle Last Night
« on: July 13, 2006, 01:23:54 AM »
Had the ball for about a month now and I could tell I was gonna shot some honor score with it because the way it hits & carries..lol

First game 299...Solid 9 pin !

I didnt think solid particle was suppose to be angular ?

Good Job Roto-Grip !

Way to go, Chad !!!

BTW, IMHO with the current technologies, particle cover balls are starting to get that "angular" potential ...

Nice job...getting stuck with a solid nine pin is unfortunate but you obviously bowled really well so congratulations. The Epic Battle is a great ball, isn't it. Looking forward to my pre-ordered Epic Saga. I just love that maximus core.

I can feel when my ball is about to skid into the gutter.  That is about it though.

Same here. I know I can foresee that happening...especially when I hit my hip or ankle on delivery! That's one of the reasons my Tuesday night league in the fall/winter/spring is called "Gutter Divers". As they say...live on the outside, die on the outside! Another reason for developing my inside shot abilities!

First game 299...Solid 9 pin

Congrats, last night with my EPIC-Battle I shoot the first 10 and then I buried it in the 11th and left the 10 pin then I picked up the 10 = 289

then the EPIC-Battle lasted about one more game and then I brought out the EPIC...great one two punch!! I love Roto-Grip.

My EPIC-Battle is the best ball I have ever thrown followed closely by the EPIC...
Now throwing pretty much all flavors...

Good shooting.  I just had my Battle sanded down a little bit because it has a 4" pin to CG and it tends to lope a little too long.  Last game in league last I left a 4-pin the first game, a Greek Church the second frame and went off the sheet for a 263.  I wasn't sure about this ball at first, but it's starting to grow on me.  I think I want to buy another one with the pin in drilled aggressive to deal with one house that's absolutely soaked compared to any other house here in Tucson.
