Epic Quest?

Anyone have success with this ball? Looking for a ball with a smooth, controlled reaction for medium heavy oil.

for me this ball was a failure for me.  I thought I would be somewhat similar to the original Epic, just able to handle more oil.  I thought the Original Epic was the best ball they ever made.  i would try an original Epic...if you could find one.  Or today a Rogue Cell..or the New Mutant Cell when it comes out if you need something for oil.  The Cell line is very good.

I dont have a Quest but my uncle loves his Quest, its very smooth and aggressive in heavy oil, a Quest, Cell Solid or Mutant Cell would work for heavy oil.

I have a Epic Quest. I get a strong arc with it. Very similar to the Cell but not as continuous on the backends.

I use mine a lot when there is more volume up front, but cleaner backs (most heavier fresh patterns). It has enough teeth to cut thru the heavy in the heads but the solid particle helps it to slow down in the back. I use this until I see a carrydown transition (synthetics) or a heads breakdown (wood/guardian) and then make the switch accordingly.

Hope this helps out.
