just saw on a storm amateur staff members facebook that roto grip will have 5 new balls coming out soon....was just wondering if anybody as any clue as to what we will see?

If it's really 5, then probably new colors for Scream and Shout or replacements for those, a spare ball or urethane, a mid level and upper level

Read it on their announcement, on their page I believe. It really says 5 new ones.

I've never been a Roto Grip owner, but I threw a series with a Roto Grip Rising Star and that ball made me think about investing in some more equipment. I'm very interested in what else Roto Grip has to offer.

My guess is..
-Sinister
-(Hybrid 1500 polish) disturbed line ball..to replace deranged
-Wrecker replacement (maybe a pearl no polish with the uproar core)
-Scream and shout replacement...maybe all new low end line.

Release date makes sense, just in time for the beginning of league season.

Personally, I HOPE they DON'T release the Sinister in the states! LOL I paid an arm and a leg for two of them!! :o

the Demented definitely isn't coming here, I believe it's the same exact ball as the Deranged just different name and color. I would think the Sinister has a shot, it would sell a ton.

Demented has a stronger cover than Deranged
The Sinister has a brand new core and cover and likely will release stateside. The Hyper Cell came out overseas before it did stateside as well

if the Demented actually has a stronger cover, I'd be interested in it. All of the Deranged balls I've seen seem to push a little too much unless it's really dry

I don't have a Deranged to compare the Demented to, but the Demented is definitely a benchmark type of ball and appears to be stronger than the Deranged I see others rolling...
Anyhow, I can't wait for the RG August 2014 releases to be announced tomorrow at the Bowling Expo!!! ;D

How much did they both cost?

Let's just say I was going to sell a Sinister for $400 shipped (Marvel Q sold for $375).
Now I will probably sell a Sinister for $220 shipped for someone to have it 6-8 weeks prior to release.
