Whoooooopie!!

I've had the pleasure of testing this ball for about a month now and I can't tell you how excited I am that I can finally put it in my bag and use it in competition.  In my opinion, this ball is strong enough that it will make you forget about the original Epic (I know that's saying alot, but).  Box finish (800 grit) hooked into the 7 pin on a 2nd shift pattern.  Brought it all the way up to 4000 grit abralon but it wiggled a little too much down lane so I settled in on 2000.  This is the only ball I have that is not factory finished that is that fine a texture - I usually like 800-1000 with lane shine.

Layout:  5" pin from PAP under fingers, MB on VAL, with a hold down through the CG on the VAL.

Steve, how long of a pin does this ball have?  I'm going to get one of these in November and want to drill it similar to yours.  Where does the CG end up with this drilling from your PAP?  We have close to the same axis coordinates and just wondering how yours in laid out.  I had a feeling this ball would be strong seeing how much backend I get out of the original Horizon.  Thanx.

This ball HOOKS... Bowled w/Tammy Boomershine this weekend in a local tournament. Looks like an excellent compliment to the original Horizon IMHO.

Those two balls would be my first RGs if I decide to try them out.

The logos on mine are white also, my driller buddy says the midlane this ball produces is a steal for the price. He has been shoot 7's with it the last few times out which shows it has great hitting power.

Test ball was orange - probably to signify it as such.  Production balls are white logo with red pin.

Ours arrived in last week and after reading your thread Steve I've been dieing to drill mine up but just havn't had the time yet! Busy busy busy!

Playing a tournament over the weekend (East Cork Open) but i'm told to expect not a lot of oil so I don't think i'll need it this week anyway!

Mine arrived yesterday and i got to throw on a fresh pair that had not been bowled on that day.  First thoughts Oh MY!!  

This ball is everything they say it is and then some has same motion that the original horizon has just earlier and stronger on a heavier condition.  The move this ball makes is quite impressive.  With my ball speed about the farthest i move in 15 at arrows.  With this ball i was throwing off right corner going thru 20 to 10 at about 40 foot with it screaming back to the pocket going high flush just ripping the rack apart throwing messengers everywhere.  I snipered so many 8 pins in the little practice i threw it, it was unbelieveable.  To have this strong of a ball at a mid price range is just phenominal.  IMO  these are the best two ball combo on the market for the price you cannot go wrong. buy one,buy one,buy three.  Great work Roto   look forward to a partcle pearl version of this ball.
