Dude is only 26. Read he averages nearly 240 everywhere he bowls and just bought his first pro shop over the summer. Another person who the PBA has failed more than likely.

Didn't he have 9 pins of handicap a game, highest on the team?
-
If this dude is avg 240 and getting 9 pins of cap that league should be shut the fuck down.

I feel like I've bowled in that league somewhere...

This kinda reminds me of that long never ending thread on handicaps and getting a score over 300, but yea I don't think I would use any of those arguments against this guy, lol.

100% of 250? Yeah GTFO with this league.

Pretty sure I found the league on league secretary. Just doing some quick math it looks to be like 80 to 90% of 250. The league average is 222 with about 45 bowlers. I clicked on the league rules and everything is blacked out, or redacted, lol.

90% of 245

that league should be scratch over half the league is striking a lot.
-
No one is giving this dude credit for shooting 927. He didn't ask for those sticks!

I don't think sticks matter all that much in that league and you're right 900 is 900. I'm really curious as to how they decided to make it a handicap league. Usually that stuff is worked with a vote during the 1st night. Wonder what their thought process was on voting it to be a handicap league. Also wondering what the pattern is.
-
He bowls in the UBA. He shot 880 scratch at a tour stop last December. UBA also uses 80% of 250.
-
The sticks don't matter? The team with the lowest scratch total is leading the league and the team with the highest scratch total is 11/19.
-
This dude has 880 and 900? Christ almighty. I’m moving to NY.

Novara is legit. The 900 is no surprise to me - dude is awesome. You ask anyone in the NY/Long Island area who the top 3 bowlers around here are and they will mention Pepe, Cavagnaro, and Novara. Definitely an elite level bowler. He bowls everything except the national tour (not sure about the Open Championships) and I've seen him cash and win titles on sport shots. The only weakness I can think of is that he doesn't like bowling against lefties - which may be why I beat him that one time in the stepladder of a king of the hill tournament 4 years ago (FIGJAM!!!!). Seriously though, he is really good and this was not a fluke.

I was being a smartass...

That Hustle Ink is quite an awesome value. Plus, the last few 900 series were rolled with Roto Grip gear, were they not? I can remember one also with the No Rules Pearl, and the Disturbed before that.
-
Not that it matters, but there's been quite a few 900s the last few years and I think they were all shot with one ball during the set. There was one with a Roto Grip Asylum, and then this one with the Roto Grip Hustle INK. Can anybody remember what the other balls were?
-
I think there was one with an Uproar.
-
One was shot with Infrared Vibe a couple of years ago
-
Wasn't one shot with the original Cell when it was out as well? Awesome shooting :)
-
Older dude shot one with an A. M. F. Radar.
Ball don’t matter. Matchup does.
If everything matches up, no matter what the ball is, it can happen.

Thats a great series. I wonder what they put in the water up there cause it seems like alot of the high series are shot up in that area, or in the north for that part. Not saying there arent any shot here in the south, there are. Are the shots easier, the climate play a factor in the oil not drying up as quickly, or what is it?

I'm in the North and it's honestly just center to center. Variables of how the center maintained, oil used, etc. I wouldn't quite write it off to North vs South.

And yet he makes his living owning a pro shop because of course the PBA is a fscking joke.
