Last year I bought nothing but big b.  This year I bought a hyroad to try out the new storm stuff and have not looked back.  Now I have a hyroad pluto a mars and they all rock.  The only big b ball im keeping is my ultra zone cause that ball is just sweet.

Heck of a question on this thread - LOL RotoGrip, Storm, and Brunswick in that order.

Used to be a Hammerhead but haven't had much luck with the new stuff made under the Hammer label by Ebonite. I do like the V2 core products from Ebonite.

I suspect I would like the Lane Masters top of the line balls but they are too expensive for me. Taking the shell all the way down to the core has some theoretical advantages in hitting power. Witness the old Hammer balls made by Faball and the carry they produced. The shell stock is more expensive than filler though so this is not the cheap way to make a ball and some compromises may have to be made in core weight.

Heck of a question on the RG thread - LOL RotoGrip, Storm, and older Brunswick in that order.

The problem I have had with Ebonite is they are placing a lot of emphasis on increasing the rate the coverstock absorbs oil. This can lead to "early dead ball syndrome" without a lot of maintenance. My Ebonite Pin Slasher is currently soaking in a bucket of warm soapy water - LOL
