I was just on Buddies web site and they have raised the price of the Hyped by $30 that is a hefty increase. Glad I ordered mine some time ago.
-
I imagine they have to raise prices at some point. I can't think of anything I buy that hasn't increased in price over the past couple of years.
-
Storm just raised all their prices. Was a post on it a few weeks ago.
-
I know prices go up but tat was a 25% increase

How much has the price of oil increased in the last year or so? As far as I know, bowling balls are mostly just oil in a different chemical composition.

Wow $149.99 for HP2?
My only thing is if the price is raised, make a better product...
Wrecker line and uproar line were superior. Just my 2 cents lol... especially if u got Simonsen buying uproars off people on fb ...

They don't really have a choice. Price of oil dictates a lot of this. There's been issues with some companies getting resin. Others have reported being unable to get ball plugging kits from distributors. And we haven't even touched on transportation or workforce costs.
It's just general inflation across the board.

Ahhhh yes. The days of $2.00/gal gas prices. But since you asked. The highest a barrel of oil cost in 2020 was $63.27. Now, that cost was $123.70 but has come down to around $100.00. So pretty much double the cost just a few months ago as compared to 2020.

Bowling balls have been underpriced for at least 20 years.

Same ball on Bowlingball.com $30.00 cheaper yesterday, I have not checked today.
-

Over marketed on stagnant technology for 20+ years.
