Anyone drill a short pin Cell?
« on: June 12, 2008, 04:25:07 AM »
If so, let me know ho w it worked out for you? I
have a 1.5 inch pin drilled pin under ring and the MB
kicked out. It revs nice but is very smooth in the back.
I am debating if i should keep it or not.

I have one with a 1.5" pin.  About the same drilling as you but no WH.  Yours looks weird with that low WH with such a high CG...but I am no driller so it is very possible that I could be wrong. LOL

Have you polished it yet?  Mine is a monster polished! It retains energy very well and gives me a slight angular move at the breakpoint. I think that your may be using a lot more energy in the midlane and thats why you aren't getting the reaction on the back your looking for.

On the other hand...smooth is a wonderful thing, it can get you out, or keep you out of trouble on some nasty conditions...

I agree with bowling, if you want something with more backend, then buy another ball and drill it that way, don't sell the one you have now, trust me and bowling, having something smooth will bail you out in the future.
