Mystic Info?
« on: May 01, 2007, 11:52:56 PM »

I got to throw a Mystic and I am a fan.  I think it fills the spot I have been desperately trying to fill for a while because I was testing it with much success on some really crappy lane conditions.  I was actually able to play straighter with it and it was nice and smooth but made a very nice move into the pocket.  With some of my other stuff I was playing the 4th arrow but with this it would still get down the lane and make a nice move but not take off.

It was drilled with the pin over the bridge and I am not sure if it was in the OOB 2000 polish because it didn't seem that shiny to me.

How do you think this ball would compare to the Pyro?
Didn't this ball just come out?

Hmm the Mystic has a lower RG than the Pyro.  I kind of like that.

I don't know. I've never used a Pyro. But I do have the Mystic and I'm surprised how well this ball handles oil for a polished bowling ball. It's powerful, looks good and hits hard. For the price you really can't beat it for a medium/heavy bowling ball. I love mine. Get one. It works great on THS playing a mid lane line. That much I do know.

I have been thinking about getting a mid-range particle pearl and I am thinking I may try this one because of the RG.

When I was testing it the side was pretty blown out and there was some carrydown.

What I liked the most was that it rolled up a lot, got down the lane, and made a good move to the pocket without burning out.  That was going through the crappy stuff on the side with a slight swing out.  I don't encounter this kind of mess that often but sometimes when I am out practicing I think this would be a good one to bring.

I am thinking the pearl particle plus the drilling made for a good combo?

Another option that was working was playing way left with a T-Road Pearl.  I guess it is two ways of attacking the thing.

Anybody know if it would be ok to put a flare increasing weight hole?

Just want to make sure it would not clip.
