Just an FYI, Only Malott, Kretzer, and LeClair are on Staff with Roto Grip.  The others are all free agents and wanted to give those quotes because the ball is that good!

LOL!!  Loosen up, I put a wink & a smiley face after my reply.  I like Roto Grip.  I have an RSP that I still haven't drilled yet.  Was thinking about a regular Cell & still might get one.  I was leaning toward a pro-cg.  Have a good one.

I have to agree that this ball is amazing.  I work for a pro shop and was given the opportunity to punch one up.  I threw it Friday night in my traveling league.  It very well may be the ball of the year. The ball looked pretty well in the track area but I was really shocked when I had to move in deep.  I was surprised at how well the ball turned the corner and was still able to carry just about anything!

Correct me of I'm wrong, but all Roto did was put a Pearl cover on the ball, correct ?

Same core...Same numbers ect  ...?

How did they improve on the design of ball ?

Changing the coverstock is changing the design technically, right?  (The ball is more than just the core, remember)  Plus I doubt they just added mica additive to pearlize the coverstock, I imagine they changed the composition ever so slightly to match the pearlized surface better.

Cytoplasmic X is the name of the coverstock.  This is a modified version of the original cover.  If you watched the seminar we posted on our youtube channel you will hear Hank discuss the cover stock matrix.  At that time we had just started using this new material.  Over the past 9 months we have perfected the matrix even more and its response to oil and friction is amazing.
