What surface do you like on your Cell (solid)?
« on: August 20, 2009, 02:57:53 AM »
Title sez it all..

Pick one up from Nor Cal Bowler in great shape and am now mulling over surface options for my PBAX league..

So far, my go to ball has been the Orge pearl (1200 grit surface), but I want something a tad stronger..

I'm think 1200 grit and a coat of Beans sauce..

Any suggestions??

Of course it all depends on a billion factors, but my favorite surface has been either 2000 abralon polished by hand with Snake Oil, or I use Resurrection to get around an 800 grit CAMI surface (so only slightly rougher than the 2000 abralon pad) and then polished by hand with Snake Oil.  This works great with the length-and-controlled-arc drill I used that put the pin under the middle finger.
