Title: Critical Theory Warranty
Post by: guffnuh on January 02, 2013, 07:44:54 PM
I have a Critical Theory which I bought brand new from buddiesproshop.com, and it cracked by the finger. I contacted Buddies about getting a replacement ball through the warranty, and they said to contact Roto Grip. When I contacted Roto, they told me to contact Buddies. What do I do?

So much for saving a buck by buying equipment online...

Rotogrip should handle it. Contact them again, they handle the warranty. The only time a proshop would handle a replacement is if it were damaged by the center and the center and the shop had an agreement in place.

I handle ALL warranty problems on equip sold in my shop! I'll deal with the company/distributor. As far as the Critical Theory, I believe that it is a discontinued ball or soon to be. That might be the problem with Buddies not having one to replace it with.

AMEN!!!!! You get what you pay for. Cheap prices, cheap service. Just Like Raider said, I also stand behind all products I sell and not have had one warrant issue declined.

Here's a question. How long ago did you buy it/drill it?

Typically it's a 1 year warranty
