DareDevil Trick
« on: March 04, 2017, 06:26:13 PM »
What's up BR family?

Need your thoughts on the Trick. I'm at my Proshop(new). My PSO is changing my pitch, as I'm hanging on the ball. I also was going to pick up the Dare Devil, but he advised against that. His thoughts are the Trick would better align with my game. Just wanted to get any feedback from those who have seen it already.

I already got mine. Roto grip sent an early one to the pro shop I go to. They sent him a 15 pounder and the guy who runs it don't throw 15 lbs. So he sold it to me.

Love the ball. Threw it for about a game and a half. Threw 226 first game out of the bag during cosmic bowling. Ball reacts well. Very nice predictable roll. Finishes great. And can't beat the price. $165 out the door for me.

That's awesome to hear. I'm looking forward to how it goes. I watched the preview from RG. Hope my PSO can get one in early. He told me that I'd be the first in line, when it comes in.

Ok so it was too dark for videos but I went to the heavy oil house. It was heavy oil between the 5s so I had a nice line up 3 to start and slowly slid inside as the lane broke down. i had a 230 and a 220 game again with it

Purely speculation without seeing but the only group I'd imagine who would need more ball in oil would be the high speed guys. Strokers, high rev and 2 handers should have no issues with this ball in oil

Looks like it has a very strong midlane roll from what I see in the video below:

How much of a difference between this and the Storm Torrent?

Never thrown the torrent. But it appears it may be a bit more ball based on numbers. However it's ugly. I was deciding between it and the trick. But between the appeal of buying a ball that like nobody has yet, my liking of rotogrip, and the color the trick was an obvious pick.

Personally I've always had a hatred for ugly balls. I don't care how good it is.  I won't throw it if it's ugly. The Helix is the only ball I've ever owned that'd be considered ugly.

Is the cover on the Trick stronger than the R2S on the IQ Tour solid?
