Title: DERANGED & TOTALLY DEFIANT reviews by Riggs
Post by: riggs on October 01, 2013, 08:02:07 PM
I posted the full reviews in the review section of ballreviews.com but I know some people just go to the forums, so here are the links to  reviews by Storm staffer Jeff Richgels. (I get to throw Roto-Grip because I am as full time as my vacation allows me to be on the PBA50 Tour.)

Bottom line = Love the DERANGED, while TOTALY DEFIANT is OK although I've got a funky drilling in it.

TOTALLY DEFIANT is here:

I think if you had a different drill on your Totally you'd find it quite versatile, and very good.

My Totally Defiant is a 4.5" Pin, pin over center or fingers about 1-1.5 inches, thumb kicked out to the left on a 23 degree angle.  Not over aggressive, but very quite aggressive.  So far, with a yearbook last year of 203, I've had sets o 643-670-695 on Sundays and 543(totally me) and 658.  I find myself with plenty of room to move left and right when needed.  The extra friction found on the wood I play on has no ill affect on the ability of this ball to make it through the front and middle of the lanes with plenty of energy left to crush the hole.

If someone is looking for a clean and straight front/mid lane with an aggressive, predictable and continuous backend, I would highly suggest the Totally Defiant.

Thanks EP. I would expect that. Just couldn't say that definitively without having personal experience.

Was merely giving an opinion from the perspective of one who has success with the ball.
