Title: EPIC battle drill?
Post by: agroves on November 07, 2006, 05:04:31 PM
Anybody drill an EPIC with the pin on the center of grip?  I did this to my blueberry.  I love the reaction, but the bowtie hits my middle finger hole.  I'm thinking of drilling the EPIC similar, but with the pin alittle higher than the midline, say an inch.  Something like:

------------midline

------0----mb

I have my Battle and Saga drilled with pin 4" from PAP and MB in strong position and Love the reaction on both. For my Pap this puts the pin just over the ring finger and MB about 3/4 to an inch right of thumb. Good Luck

I consider myself a tweener. Pap is 5 1/4 over and 1/4 up. Medium speed, right between 16 and 17 mph.

Drilled my Battle pin under the ring, and MB on my VAL. Did that so it could roll up solidly thru any carry-down. I have a wgthole, high on my val as well. So far it has worked beautifully for me.
