Epic Battle vs Scorchin inferno
« on: February 15, 2006, 12:51:33 PM »
My impression I bowled with both of these gems on a 40ft flat pattern with fresh backends called in favor of local lane guy.

This ball is drilled 4x4 with mass bias in strong position no balance hole needed.
Battle is longer on this pattern was standing at 32 and throwing 18 at arrows out to about 8.  This ball saved energy down the lane started to make a controlled move at about 37 foot and it got out to 8 and then the most amazing thing happened it looked someone kicked it to pocket biggest backend from a particle ball that is dull i have ever seen.  So impressed.  I  even moved into twenty five at arrows and threw to ten just to see if it would would recover and it did with ease which i found amazing cause i have never been able to throw there with anything.

Scorching inferno drilled with pin above middle finger with cg in middle of grip no balance hole.  That said i threw same line as above start line and it moved at around 22 foot and was a strong move but lacked back end energy as expected.  I left this ball in oob condition as did i with the battle.  Needless to say think this ball can handle a much heavier oil pattern then the battle but dont think i will ever find that pattern dont think it exists but have it just incase.  Like i said these balls are both great in their own right but the battle is just mpore impressive saves so much more energythen the scorchin and the reaction on heavy is amazing.  I drilled the scorchin weak for jsut that purpose and it still didnt save enough energy i made that mistake with ultimate inferno that ball i drilled strong and it burnt up in my backswing.  hope this helps a few of you
