Eternal Cell
« on: December 01, 2015, 09:42:15 PM »
This post is in addition the one I put on the storm forum.  My pro shop operator told me to get and Eternal Cell.  I wanted a ball to fit in between my Hyper Cell Skid and my Lock.  The Skid says in the specs its for Med-Heavy oil.  The Eternal Cell says its for medium oil.  I am confused how the EC would be stronger than the Skid.  Any suggestions?

Who says the Eternal Cell is for medium oil? The Eternal has a stronger cover than the skid: Skid is 73 pearl, Eternal is 75 solid

Roto Grips website.  This Website says it to if you look up the ball.  Plus it says the cover is a 70M Solid not a 75.

roto grip's website says that the eternal has a 75m coverstock on the specs sheet and in it's description.

I see something really weird. On 3 websites, there are 3 different coverstock numbers.

Roto Grip website shows 75
Buddies shows 72
Bowling.com shows 70

I would go by Roto Grip. Sometimes a distributor makes a mistake in their funnel. I saw it a lot working in a pro shop for years. I would always trust a manufacturer's specs first.

Well then that would make the skid a stronger ball right?
