Silver streak pearl pin over middle finger cg center grip for med dry
Silver streak solid drilled with a control drilling
IS there a better choice for a control ball and what type of drilling would work best on it.

I would go (personally)
Silver Streak Particle 5x3 - Most Heavier conditions
Silver Streak Pearl 5 1/2 x 5 - Most Medium conditions - definitely not for dry
Silver Streak 4 1/2 - 5 (label drill) - control ball
Sonic X 5 x 4 - Lighter Oil
After reading your profile I made these adjustments and suggestions to what you originally posted. I went with all long pins from your pap because you are a medium speed high rev player. We want to store as much enery for you as possible. Any other questions please let me know.

ATTENTION....the comment below is NOT NEGATIVE!!
I have a Silver Streak Solid drilled 4x5...its' NOT a control ball. It gets nice length and a nice midlane read, but explodes on the backend. Not that that is bad, but I wouldn't call it control, that's all.
I would do something like this...Wilbert, I agree with you..
Fuel 4 1/2 strong for heavy
Silver Streak Pearl as recommended by Roger
Silver Streak Solid I'd do with more of a control drill, maybe 4 1/2 pin w/ cg on PAP or say a 2x5 or maybe even something like a 2x2.

To me...Control Arc drill is exactly what it is called label drill cg in the palm pin at 1 - 1:30. Will give him a smooth arcing and continuing backend through the pocket. All of your suggestions will give him to much roll at his toes
in my mind based off of his profile (Speed/Rev rate). As far as going with a Fuel or Silver Streak Particle that just depends on how much money you want to spend. Particle ranges from $40.00 - $60.00 less than a Fuel and is almost just as strong in the oil. And I recommended it because if he is getting the other silver streaks why not stick with the same cored ball that way you know the characteristics of the core. After reading your suggestions Jeff I think if he is wanting more control as a hook and roll ball then possibly a 4 1/2 Pin Cg 3 1/2 and the hole on PAP.

Silver Streak Solid drilled with the Pin just above and to the right of the Ring Finger, CG in the palm. While it does have a strong move on the backend, I find that is is a controllable ball. With my PAP, it's close to a 4x5 drilling, but more accurately I'd call it a 1:30 layout.
Silver Streak Particle samce 1:30 layout except the pin is a little lower, right next ro the ring finget, CG in the palm. This ball needs oil. Since my Sport Shot league is over, I don't have anywhere near enough oil on the "normal" house shot to use it. It gives a very strong, hard arcing reaction.
Blue Retro, pin under the ring finger, CG kicked out about 15 degrees, probably a 10:30 or 11:00 layout. This ball gives me a very noticaeble snap on the backends, very close to a hockey stick shape.
Overall, I would agree with Roger's suggestions and for the most part, my ball reaction with the Silver Streak Solid is fairly close to what he describes

I didn't say the Solid wasn't controllable, I said I wouldn't consider it a CONTROL ball. Big difference. Just wanted to clarify
