My PAP is 5 3/4 right, 3/4 up. In reading the specs on it and already knowing what I want to use it for, I went with a 50* 5.5 40* layout and adjusted to surface to 4000.
Unfortunately, the ball was not ready until just before game three started. However, other than a missed spare, I went X 9/ 9- X out for 258. The first thing that surprised me was how far right I was in that game(for me). Typically I''''m around 32-35. With the Mutant, I was at 25, targeting 12 and my breakpoint around 4-5.
The ball cleared the heads cleaner than I expected and did not dig too hard in the midlane(I have other pieces for that). Thanks to the color scheme, you can see in the way it revs up to make that turn that something really bad is about to happen. When the Mutant is ready, it doesn''''t hesitate or ask for permission. It just goes and crashes into the pocket.
For my very first Roto ball, I could not be happier with the results. I''''ll use it again in my Friday league for more of an assessment.
I''''ll upload a pic to my photobucket below later today.
