Halo feedback
« on: January 17, 2019, 03:07:52 PM »
Just wondering why I'm not seeing a lot on the Halo. I usually match up great with whatever Luke hates   ;), and I am absolutely loving this ball. Therefore, I'm not sure anyone else is having good luck. I don't see much on it.
Feedback please?

Went to a doubles tournament a few months back. On literally every pair there was 1 or two of them.

Seemed to be a real winner of a ball for medium speed strokers playing up the outside on a challenge pattern.

2 of the best women bowlers I've ever seen (in person) in my life were using them to shoot +680. One went 30 frames clean, by far one of the most impressive performances I've seen from an amateur.

Love my Halo.. so much so that i sold off the Idol as they are real similar.

Took the surface to 4k.  Works better on the normal house shot around here.

Yeah I don't like it lol, but I'm giving it another shot, just ordered another today actually.  The Idol is rounder and not quite as straight off the end of the pattern for me, it was a shape thing, it just didn't give me a whole lot of room on the lane to work with,  but I'm throwing it better now than I was when I made the video, so we'll see.

I will fry so hard if they do that. There's nothing like a No Rules Pearl out right now so I'm really hope that fills the gap

Are you going to try a different layout this time Luke?

Debating.  It was too straight off the end of the pattern, but sometimes that's useful.  I fall into the trap sometimes that a lot of other people do, buying different balls but trying to make them all shape the same and be usable on a house shot . . haven't decided yet.

I think the Halo is one of the better heavy oil balls out there.  I was throwing it on 48ft Great Wall of China earlier this year and it was the only ball I own that could face up on the fresh.

The ball has to have some oil or it will appear flat and puke out.  I have the goo for a Halo pearl, but recently have been thinking about getting another Physix set up for skid flip, and take the cover to 1500 polish.
