Title: Has anybody sanded a Grand Illusion?
Post by: Ric Clint on September 16, 2008, 01:42:57 PM
I've heard people say the Grand Illusion goes longer and has more backend than the Cell (each with there BOX Finish)!

It's been said that the Grand Illusion is similar to the Cell in the way it rolls and is a great step down from the Cell... so I was wondering if you sand the Grand Illusion to the same grit to say like 800-1000 grit, what would be the difference in them then... and vice-versa if you polished both of them to say 2000-2500 grit, what would be the comparison in them at this point also?

Thanks!

I took my down to a 1000 and it came to life for me,and added a little polish to it and im happy with it, matches up with the lane conditions i have to deal with.
